PODICEF-CV 50 Dry Syrup is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic (Cefpodoxime) combined with Clavulanic Acid, a β-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacterial resistance. This powerful combination provides enhanced antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms.
It is ideal for pediatric use, providing fast and effective relief from respiratory infections, tonsillitis, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and otitis media. Clavulanic acid extends the antibacterial spectrum of Cefpodoxime, making the therapy more effective even against resistant bacterial strains.
