PODICEF CS contains Cefoperazone, a third-generation cephalosporin with powerful antibacterial activity, and Sulbactam, a β-lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacterial resistance. This synergistic combination provides enhanced coverage against Gram-positive, Gram-negative, and β-lactamase producing bacteria. It is widely used in hospital-acquired infections, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, septicemia, and post-operative infections.
